Privacy Policy

Cambridge Primary Portal (“we”, “us”, the “Service”), available at studyquest.co.in, provides worksheets, videos and Olympiad preparation material for Cambridge Primary Grades 1–5. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account details. Your name and email address, plus a securely hashed password if you register with email.
- Google sign-in data. If you choose “Sign in with Google”, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID from your Google profile. We request only the
openid,emailandprofilescopes. We never receive your Google password, and we do not access your Gmail, Drive, Contacts or any other Google service. - Usage and access data. Which worksheets and videos you open, your grade selection, and technical log data such as IP address and browser type, used for security and to keep the Service working.
- Payment data. Orders for premium content are processed by Razorpay. Your card, UPI and bank details are entered directly with Razorpay and are never received or stored on our servers. We store only the order reference and payment status.
2. How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
- To deliver the worksheets, videos and Olympiad material you request.
- To process payments and unlock premium content you have purchased.
- To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot technical problems.
- To send essential service messages such as email verification and receipts.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Children’s privacy
The Service is designed for primary-school learners but is intended to be used under the supervision of a parent, guardian or teacher. Accounts must be created and managed by an adult. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child without that adult acting on their behalf. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, contact us at support@studyquest.co.in and we will delete it promptly.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the Service:
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Object Storage) — hosting and storage of learning material and application data.
- Razorpay — payment processing for premium content.
- Google — authentication, if you use Google sign-in.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the Service.
5. Data retention and security
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Access is protected by signed, HTTP-only session cookies, and all traffic to the Service is encrypted over HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
6. Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Blocking it will prevent you from logging in.
7. Your rights
You may access or correct your details from your profile page, and you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing support@studyquest.co.in. If you signed in with Google, you can also revoke our access from your Google account permissions page.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above, and where appropriate we will notify you by email.
